Hypercard nostalgia

There are times when I feel a strong sense of nostalgia for Hypercard, a simple software development environment that was available on Macintosh computers in the 1980s. Hypercard was one of the things that first sparked my interest in computing, visual design, and interaction design when I was a child. Even though I could barely speak English at the time, I was able to learn how to write scripts in HyperTalk, a language that was designed to be easy to read and understand.
